“HAPPINESS IS BEING LOVED” – Billy, aged 8
YES, WE ALL THRIVE ON LOVE.
I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name.
YOU ARE PRECIOUS IN MY EYES.
It is all summed up in the carol, “O, Holy Night”;
“In all trials
BORN TO BE OUR FRIEND”
Yes, I AM LOVED BY GOD!
“TAKING THE CHILD AND HIS MOTHER, HE LEFT FOR EGYPT THAT NIGHT”.
As refugees they fled at night to escape the slaughter of Herod. They must have already seen the tragedy experienced by so many.
Times don’t change!
AND TO END THE YEAR WITH A FEW FAMILY GEMS.
The reason parents no longer lead their children in the right direction is because parents aren’t heading that way themselves.
Children have more need of models than of critics!
Our children need more of our presence, than our presents!
Children have never been good at listening to their elders but have never failed to imitate them.
A CHINESE PROVERB:
“Nobody’s family can hang a sign, “Nothing the matter here”. Brilliant
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE.
