    HOLY WEEK

The Most Solemn and Most Sacred Week of the Year.

    Joy, Sorrow and Glory

JOY - “Welcome!  Hosanna to the Son of David.”

    SORROW - “Kill! Crucify Him!”

GLORY – “He is not here!  He has RISEN.”

Betrayed, Denied, Mocked, Beaten and Spat upon.

“Yes, HE WAS LED LIKE A SHEEP TO THE SLAUGHTER.”

The physical cruelty of the crucifixion was terrifying.

“Father, how wonderful you care for us!

    How boundless your merciful love!

To ransom a slave, you gave away your only SON”

    THANK YOU!

YES, EACH ONE OF US IS INVALUABLE IN THE EYES OF GOD.

And THE FINAL PEARL TO END!

“Are you going to the Holy Week Sevices, Betty”?

“Not on your life!  They’re too gruesome”!!!

PS.  Perhaps our greatest failings – INDIFFERENCE & INGRATITUDE!
